Glass and Grace Events is a full-service wedding planning company serving couples across Cincinnati, Dayton, and beyond. Known for our calm presence, thoughtful design, and seamless execution, we specialize in turning your vision into a celebration that feels effortless, elevated, and entirely your own.
Founded by Amy Duvic, Glass and Grace was built on the belief that wedding planning should feel joyful — not overwhelming. With a deep love for details (and an even deeper love for people), our team brings a calm, organized, and collaborative approach to the planning process. We offer expert guidance while keeping your voice at the center of every decision.
Whether you’re planning a black-tie affair downtown or a tented celebration on family property, we’ll walk with you through each step — guiding the logistics, refining the design, and managing all the moving parts behind the scenes so you can stay focused on what matters most.
From full-service planning to month-of coordination, we tailor each experience to your needs while working seamlessly alongside your vendor team. At Glass and Grace, your wedding isn’t just another date on the calendar — it’s a one-of-a-kind story we’re honored to help tell.
I started Glass and Grace Events with a passion for the little things — the lists, the layouts, the logistics — but more than that, I love people and the relationships formed through this work. I believe wedding planning should feel exciting, not overwhelming. I’m here to bring clarity to the process, confidence to your decisions, and calm to your wedding day.
I grew up in Dayton and attended the University of Dayton, where my love for events first took root. After years of working in the Cincinnati wedding industry (and loving every second of it), I launched Glass and Grace to bring a more collaborative, detailed, and personalized approach to planning.
I’ll walk you through each step, present creative options, and let you make the decisions — with expert guidance and no pressure. You get to enjoy your engagement while I handle the behind-the-scenes magic.
When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me with my husband Jeff and our dog Winnie Waffles, baking a new recipe, or dreaming up our next trip.
Whether you're planning a celebration in Cincinnati, Dayton, or somewhere in between, I can't wait to meet you, hear your story, and bring your vision to life — one beautifully planned detail at a time.
- Turning “we have no idea what we want” into a fully designed, cohesive event
- Bringing calm energy and clear answers when things get stressful
- Getting genuinely excited about napkin folds and logistics
Sarah Hecker is one of our lead coordinators at Glass and Grace Events, and her joy for wedding days is absolutely contagious. From calming nerves in the bridal suite to making sure every detail is just right, Sarah is passionate about helping couples feel supported and celebrated from start to finish.
With a heart for hospitality and an eye for beauty, Sarah brings both warmth and precision to every event she’s part of. She’s the kind of person who’s always one step ahead — ready with a bobby pin, a kind word, or a quick solution when it matters most.
When she’s not coordinating weddings, you’ll find her behind a camera, lost in a good book, or spending quality time with her friends and family.
Allison is the ultimate behind-the-scenes hero at Glass and Grace Events — and also Amy’s mom! She thrives on the energy of a wedding day and loves nothing more than a perfectly executed setup. From triple-checking floor plans to making sure every last chair is aligned, she brings a calm, detail-oriented presence that helps everything run smoothly.
Though she prefers to stay out of the spotlight, her impact is everywhere: in the meticulous setup, the seamless flow, and the steady support she brings to every couple. When she’s not working weddings, you’ll find her traveling, attending concerts, or saying “yes” to just about any social invite.
Fun fact: After working a 14-hour wedding day, Allison once stopped by the couple’s after-party to sing karaoke — by request, of course. She never turns down a chance to keep the celebration going!
Ashley Fortman was the very first assistant at Glass and Grace Events — and she’s been an essential part of the team ever since. Now a senior at The Ohio State University, Ashley brings a calm, steady presence to wedding days and has a natural gift for helping clients feel relaxed and cared for.
She thrives under pressure, jumps in wherever needed, and has even sewn more than one bridesmaid into her dress! Her attention to detail, reliability, and kindness make her a favorite among both clients and fellow vendors.
Whether she’s managing last-minute changes or fluffing a train before the walk down the aisle, Ashley is the kind of teammate every couple wants by their side.
Emily Clemans first joined the Glass and Grace family as a bride — and now we’re lucky to have her on the other side of the aisle as part of our planning team. With a background in childhood education, Emily brings patience, thoughtfulness, and a natural ability to stay calm under pressure — all essential qualities on a wedding day.
Highly organized and always one step ahead, she’s known for anticipating needs, managing the flow of the day with ease, and making sure every detail is beautifully in place. Emily also loves getting to know each couple personally, creating a warm and supportive presence that puts everyone at ease.
Whether she’s coordinating vendors, checking off the timeline, or fixing a veil before the walk down the aisle, Emily brings care, clarity, and calm to every celebration she’s part of.
Elizabeth brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented touch to everything she does at Glass and Grace Events. She loves contributing to design projects, assisting brides throughout the day, and helping with event setup to ensure everything runs smoothly. She also has experience in wedding videography, making her a creative asset to any celebration.
Elizabeth is currently engaged to Amy’s brother and planning a wedding of her own—so she knows firsthand what it feels like to be in her clients’ shoes.
When she's not working a wedding, you’ll likely find her traveling, hiking, baking something delicious, or capturing life’s moments on video. Her calm demeanor, creativity, and care make her a wonderful part of the GGE team.
