MEET Amy

lanning Grant and Audrey’s wedding was the kind of experience that reminds you why weddings matter—the day felt personal, effortless, and completely them. High school sweethearts who later attended the University of Dayton (with Amy!), their story is rooted in years of friendship, faith, and a deep ease with one another. Watching their vision come to life at Mother of God Church and The French House was a true joy.

One of our favorite design moments of the day was the sunken garden bar, created by styling the Lost & Found Umbrellas bar into a tucked-away cocktail-hour destination. It felt intimate, unexpected, and instantly became a guest favorite.

The couple wove personality into every detail—from embroidered hats for guests (which were an absolute hit!) to custom pizza boxes that made the perfect late-night bite. Even the cocktail napkins were thoughtfully designed to reflect their aesthetic and their story.

Review from the bride: “I could go on and on about how I gained Amy as a friend through GGE but I will stick to the career side of this for the sake of this review. I can truly say every single part of wedding planning was truly, throughly enjoyable because of Amy. Every time someone asked me how it was going and if I was stressed (which as a bride is the most common question), I could confidently say no I was not because I had the best wedding planner ever. Amy was 10 steps ahead of me at all times, and 20 steps ahead of me the day of. I truly think without Amy and her team, we would have been an hour late to my ceremony. The day flies by without even realizing – I quite literally can not physically think about the day happening without GGE team. From the organized timeline minute by minute to the details she made sure not to miss because she knew they were important to me. Amy’s skillset was worth every penny and more. I honestly would have paid triple. I cannot say enough nice things about GGE. From being on the trolley on the way to the ceremony and realizing I didn’t have my bouquet to stepping off the trolley and there she was holding them and the other 2 things I completely forgot to think of. The morning of, I showed up to the venue with table numbers, candles, guest books, wedding bands and more spread across 5 different boxes and didn’t even have to tell her where those boxes were let alone what each of them held. Somehow her team was not only able to seamlessly locate everything, but they set up exactly the way it needed to be according to the diagram (which of course they professionally made) without me even thinking of it day of so I could enjoy getting ready with my girls. Aside from perfect the day of, Amy’s relationships with vendors truly encapsulated how professional, respected, and successful she is — everyone we worked with not only knew her, but loved working with her. And now I get to say the same! Through her network and experience, truly not a single detail was missed for our wedding day. Everything was perfect — thanks to GGE!”
