We worked with Jules and Eric to plan the garden wedding of their dreams, and from the very first conversation, we knew it was going to be something special. They came to us with one simple request: “We want a twilight wedding.” And our answer was immediate—done.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Dayton Art Institute, their celebration unfolded as the sun dipped low and the gardens began to glow. The evening felt magical in every sense of the word—soft light filtering through lush florals, candlelight flickering as guests gathered, and an atmosphere that balanced romance with effortless charm.
The design blended rustic elements with a true floral explosion. Abundant blooms spilled across tables, framed walkways, and softened architectural details, creating a space that felt organic, intentional, and deeply romantic. Nothing felt overdone—just full, inviting, and alive, exactly the way a garden wedding should feel at dusk.
One of our favorite design moments of the day was the custom seating chart installation. Built entirely for Jules and Eric, this statement piece stood over eight feet tall and anchored the reception design. It was both functional and artistic—an immersive focal point that welcomed guests and set the tone for the evening ahead. Seeing it come together was one of those moments that reminds us why we love what we do.
As daylight faded into night, the celebration only grew warmer and more intimate. Surrounded by loved ones, glowing gardens, and thoughtful details at every turn, Jules and Eric’s wedding was a true twilight dream—romantic, joyful, and unforgettable.
It was an honor to bring this vision to life alongside such a wonderful couple, and we’ll be thinking about this magical evening at DAI for a long time to come.
