If you’re dreaming of a classic Cincinnati wedding filled with meaningful traditions, historic architecture, and an unforgettable celebration, Jack and Katie’s wedding day is the perfect inspiration.

Their day began with a beautiful Catholic ceremony at St. Francis de Sales Church before celebrating with dinner and dancing at one of Cincinnati’s most iconic reception venues, The Transept. Every detail reflected who they are as a couple, blending family traditions with timeless elegance.

A Meaningful Ceremony at St. Francis de Sales
Jack and Katie exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends at St. Francis de Sales Church in Cincinnati. While the church itself is breathtaking, one of the most memorable moments of the day came just before Katie walked down the aisle.
For generations, Katie’s family has passed down a custom aisle runner that is unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Just moments before the processional, the runner was unrolled down the center aisle. Each time a new couple in the family is married, a stone is hand-painted directly onto the runner commemorating their wedding day with the couple’s names, wedding date, the priest who officiated, and the church where they were married.
Watching another chapter be added to such a treasured family heirloom was incredibly special and a beautiful reminder that weddings are about more than one day—they’re about generations of love and legacy.
Wedding Portraits at Washington Park

Following the ceremony, Jack and Katie made their way to Washington Park for portraits.
Located in the heart of Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, Washington Park offers a perfect mix of lush greenery, city views, and historic architecture. It’s one of our favorite locations for couples wanting timeless wedding portraits before heading to their reception.
An Elegant Reception at The Transept

Guests were welcomed into The Transept, one of Cincinnati’s most unique wedding venues. Originally a historic church, The Transept has been transformed into an incredible event space while preserving its soaring ceilings, stunning stained glass, and incredible architectural details. The result is a venue that feels both grand and intimate—perfect for couples looking for a one-of-a-kind Cincinnati wedding venue.
The evening flowed seamlessly from cocktails into an exceptional dinner catered by DelightMore. Every course was beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable from beginning to end.
Guests danced the night away before being surprised with one of our favorite late-night treats: warm cookies and milk passed around the dance floor. It was the perfect nostalgic ending to an already unforgettable celebration.
Between the espresso martini bar, incredible food, beautiful floral design, and a packed dance floor, every part of the evening reflected Jack and Katie’s joyful personalities.
As wedding planners, these are the celebrations we love most—days that honor family traditions while creating brand-new memories for generations to come.
We are so grateful to have been part of Jack and Katie’s beautiful Cincinnati wedding and wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
